I doubted Chinese medicine for long time. I thought it was horrible. Especially scraping. I couldn't imagine the whole body is purple color. I felt very sick when I lived in China. My Chinese friend planned to do scraping for me. I rejected it politely. But my Chinese tried her best to persuade me. Surly my skin got purple, but the amazing thing is I feel very relax and I feel better.

I have been a skeptic of Chinese medicine until I moved to China. I had one friend in particular who has always complained of neck pain and had numerous surgeries in the past. When he tried acupuncture for the first time in China, he said it was the first thing to ever get rid of the pain. I guess you have to see it to believe it.
